I finally remembered to take a belly pic today and this is what we ended up with...
Doesn't really look like much except for a bunch of chubbiness! LOL! It is funny tho, because sometimes my belly sticks out a lot and sometimes it barely does at all. I am not sure if that is normal! I hope to start showing here more soon, but I do my best to be patient because I am told in the last few weeks you are so sick of being big. So I am trying not to wish myself there too fast!
Jaxon wanted to get in on things too and have his picture taken with his little brother! And here is another one of Jaxon cuddling up with me and his little bro!
I love it!

We are having a...
Profile view of our little one |
Our little one is a BOY! We are SO excited! We both had a hunch that it was a boy (we actually have bought a few neutral outfits and boy outfits but nothing girl) but we would of been excited either way of course! Though Mike was beyond excited to find out that we get to have the heir to the Bemis throne and officially carry on the Bemis name! Mike was excited to "pass" that info onto his brothers and his dad.
Afterward, I called my mom and she was excited (and would of been either way) but she said that she thought it was going to be a boy as well. Next I called my dad and told him to start buying baseball stuff, which of course makes him excited! The thought of another boy to teach to throw a baseball and take Twins games will make him excited (don't worry the Vikings games and football lessons will be taken care of by Mike)! Later we shared the ultrasound pics with my brother and sister in law and they were excited to be having a nephew!

If you didn't know...
WE ARE EXPECTING!!!!! :-)
So we decided to follow the ranks of Mike's brother and family and start a family blog since we have family that stretches the nation and globe! I will do my best to keep up with it as much as I can but can't make any promises, as we haven't even taken a belly picture of me! And I apologize in advance for grammar and spelling errors!
So now for the details:
We are due in the middle of June, around the 17th. So that makes me 19 weeks now. On Tuesday (the 25th) we have our 20 weeks appt and our first ultrasound, which we will also find out the sex of the baby. That is if we decide to :-) or I should say, if I decide we are going to. Mike wants to and has always wanted to, where as I have never wanted to but as we have been out shopping for baby necessities we have found that there is very limited amount of neutral stuff out there. So that puts me on the fence, with only a couple days left to decide!
The past 19 weeks has truly flown by (at least for me, Mike may have a different opinion!). We found out that we were expecting about 2 days before we left for Italy to visit Mike's brother and family (Joe, Carrie, & Carlie). Joe is in the Air Force and they have been stationed in Italy for almost 3 years now, so we def had to go and visit them before they leave in the next few months. We were really excited see them and spend time as a family, as Mike's other brother Jeb and his daughter Ellie came with. It was also a lot of fun to be able to tell all of them together and in person! We had a fantastic time there (how could we not!) and I felt great the entire time!
Unfortunately that quickly changed as we came back home, I started to have some morning sickness which hung around until I was about 15 weeks. So we are definitely thankful that it has now finally passed and also that our time in Italy was great as well! When we got home we were really excited to share our news with my family, it was hard not to spill the beans to them when we were Skype-ing with there. Needless to say they were beyond excited for us, especially my parents, as they have been waiting for this day for the last 4 1/2 years! We kept the news under wraps until about Christmas and then we started sharing with extended family and close friends, which of course was a ton of fun! It was neat to first feel the baby at around 11 weeks (just the fluttering of the baby) and then the baby actually kicking at about 17 weeks.
We are really excited for this time in our life and for our little growing miracle! We know God has truly blessed us with this baby and know that it will grow up and effect so many people and be a world changer! We just pray everyday that God gives us the knowledge not to screw it up! LOL! We know that this will also happen with all of the love, prayers, and support that this little one will get from all of you, our wonderful friends and family!
So that pretty much brings you all up to speed on things! If you have any questions for us feel free to ask!
We love you all!
